Venture capitalist are nowhere to be found in this story. Philip built his company the old-fashioned way, through blood, sweat, and tears. Philip started La Provence wholesale bakery in 1991. Today, the company has 40 employees and an A List customer list from Starbucks, to Pete’s Coffee, and several other national chains.
